Fifteen pupils completed the Adventurous Journey section of their Duke of Edinburgh’s International Bronze Award yesterday by presenting their aims, experiences and an overview of the skills they learnt during their weekend in Fujairah. Their eager audience comprised award assessors and Cranleigh’s Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award team, as well as parents and peers. The expedition training included a two day practice and was followed by a two day qualifying expedition to reach this stage.
All pupils spoke eloquently about teamwork, determination and organisation. Congratulations to each and every one on their achievement.
