Sports at Cranleigh

At Cranleigh Abu Dhabi, all children are expected to be actively involved in the extensive programme of sport on offer. With just short of 100 sports teams and with our ‘Sport for All’ mantra there is something for everyone. Sport is an important aspect of life for our Cranleighans. It supports our ethos by helping pupils to develop vital skills for life such as commitment, resilience, teamship and enjoyment.

Our Sports Facilities

Facilities at Cranleigh Abu Dhabi include an Indoor Sports Complex comprising a large sports hall, with 6 badminton courts, 4 indoor cricket nets, two indoor basketball courts, a fitness area and a separate dance studio.

We also have two shaded swimming pools (25m competition and 10m beginner), four grass pitches, a 300m running track, two junior school netball/tennis courts and three senior school netball/tennis courts. 

Leagues & Tournaments 

Cranleigh Abu Dhabi has a growing reputation for sporting success and participates in the ADISSA (Abu Dhabi Schools Sports Association) leagues and tournaments with regular weekly fixtures against other schools. We also participate in the BSME (British Schools in the Middle East) Games, netball, golf and swimming. As well as this, we regularly host several touring teams from schools both domestically and internationally.
