Key Stage 2 Maths and Science Teacher
We are looking for a Key Stage 2 teacher to take responsibility for roughly half a timetable of Science in Years 5 and 6 and half a timetable of Maths in Year 6, plus one ICT lesson. Responsibilities will also include that of a form tutor and the ideal candidate will be expected to contribute to the wider aims of the school by delivering extra curricular activities or helping with sports teams. We are seeking to appoint a suitably experienced individual to the post of Head Librarian. This term time role offers an exciting and rewarding opportunity for a candidate who has the vision and drive to continue the development of an effective and vibrant library service across the school. The successful candidate will lead and manage the junior and senior libraries, facilitating pupils’ independent learning to encourage a lifelong love of reading. Responsibilities include:
- Supporting teaching and learning across the school
- Leading library lessons in the Pre-Prep and Prep Schools to develop information literacy, independent learning, library skills and a love of reading
- Developing and maintaining the library catalogue
- Cataloguing and processing new books
- Managing the library budget
- Organising events, competitions and displays
- Coordinating the library volunteer schedule

Maternity Cover Opportunities – Prep School (commencing August 2018 for Term 1)
There must be something in the water! We have two vacancies for teaching staff to cover maternity leave – full details below. Applicants must have previous experience with teaching British curriculum ideally within a similar environment and able to work full-time for the whole of the first term of next academic year. Therefore, you will need to be available from 26th August through to mid December (dates to be confirmed).
- Maternity Cover for Teacher of Years 5 & 6 English and Humanities: Experience as a form tutor for Year 5 is desirable
- Maternity Cover for Year 3 Class Teacher: Previous Key Stage 2 experience is required
