Rugby

Rugby is a popular sport and played in both the contact and touch format. We have 12 teams that regularly compete against teams from Abu Dhabi in leagues and tournaments.

The standard of Rugby within Abu Dhabi is continuing to improve and many of our players' train and play outside of schools in the Abu Dhabi Harlequins academy.

Training: We utilize our natural grass facilities giving our contact players the benefit from training in term 1 in preparation for the formal season in the second term.

Games are hosted on our main pitch or at external venues. In Touch Rugby, we have fielded A-D teams in both the U9 and U11 age category.

Facilities

We have a full-size U16 pitch within our own school site. We also have our own medical site situated within the sports department.

Competitions

Our touch teams compete within the ADISSA league in term 1. This year our U11 team had a very successful season winning both the league and the tournament in both the A and B divisions.

Our senior teams continue to develop. Led by Mr Brown our Under 14 teams have also enjoyed an unbeaten season in 2019/20.
