THE MOON CUBE HAS LANDED IN THE MATHS DEPARTMENT

The Moon Cube is a life size interactive Maths puzzle. It consists of 9 L-shaped sections (which can also be used as chairs) that fit together to make a cube. The real challenge, however, is to fit the sections together so each side of the cube shows an individual colour (like a completed Rubik’s Cube). Be warned it is a lot harder than it looks!

By solving the Moon Cube , pupils at Cranleigh will benefit in several key areas of both Maths and everyday life including: problem solving, perseverance, strategy, communication, thinking skills, leadership and teamwork. More importantly though, it is really good fun!

Come and have a go at the Moon Cube, but be warned – many have tried, few have succeeded!
